Responses & Analytics

Insights

Insights aggregate scattered responses into stats and charts, helping you grasp the big picture without scrolling through records one by one.

Use the 7D / 30D / 90D switch at the top to change the time window (30 days by default). Export downloads the current Insights view as Excel (.xlsx) or CSV — overview, audience, trend, funnel, channels, drop-off and answers. This is separate from exporting data and doesn't use the weekly export quota.

Key numbers

The top strip shows Today's Submissions (vs. yesterday), Total Submissions, Unique Respondents (signed-in respondents only), Average Score, Report Completion (completed / failed / pending reports) and Shares with the share rate.

Common charts

  • Submissions in the last N days: Response volume over time.
  • Answer Distribution: For single-choice, dropdown, true/false and rating questions (up to 10), the share of each option.
  • Traffic Source: Compare response volume across channels, combined with UTM Source Tracking.
  • Login Method and Device Type: Anonymous vs. registered respondents, and iOS / Android / desktop.

Conversion funnel

The Conversion Funnel tracks one visit (session) through Viewed → Started → Submitted → Report viewed → CTA clicked. Two stages appear only when they apply: Lead Captured (after Submitted) on quizzes set to Email required to see the report, or that have lead data from before; and Shared (at the end) once results have been shared. How each stage is counted:

StageCounted when
ViewedThe quiz page actually opens in a browser (crawlers and admin previews excluded)
StartedThe respondent answers any question for the first time (not just clicking "start")
SubmittedThe submission succeeds
Lead CapturedThe submission is tied to a respondent — they left an email or signed in
Report viewedThe report finishes generating while the respondent is on the result page
CTA clickedThe respondent clicks the CTA button at the bottom of the report
SharedThe respondent clicks a share button on the result page (first time, any channel)

The percentage next to each stage is the conversion rate relative to the previous stage, so you can see exactly where the drop happens.

Top 10 drop-off points

Among sessions that didn't submit but answered at least one question, grouped by the last question they answered — questions with high counts are where people give up: too hard, too sensitive, or the next one scared them off. Visitors who left without answering anything aren't listed here; they show up in the Viewed → Started decline.

Conversion by source

Grouped by the link's utm_source (set by the Distribution plan, UTM Source Tracking or the Embed UTM attributes), comparing viewed/started/submitted counts and completion rate per source; sources coming from website embeds carry an Embed tag.

The funnel counts sessions since the feature launched; earlier historical submissions are not backfilled, so "total submissions" may initially exceed the funnel's submitted count. They converge over time.

Suggestions

  • Use the conversion funnel to locate where the drop happens: many views but few starts points to the landing page or the first question; many starts but few submissions — check the top drop-off questions.
  • Use Answer Distribution to understand respondents' overall tendencies.
  • Combine time trends with conversion by source to evaluate each channel's campaigns.

Insights show "group trends." To dig into a specific response, go to Response Records; for individual assessment conclusions, go to Reports.
