Respondent Sign-in & Portal
Respondents aren’t only anonymous visitors who submit and leave — they can sign in, revisit their reports, and manage their own bookings. That self-service layer is also what makes leads possible in the first place.
When sign-in is required
Answering a quiz never requires signing in. Two things trigger it:
- Seeing the full report — if the quiz makes the report visible only after sign-in, respondents must sign in to see their complete result.
- Booking — the booking section on the result page requires a sign-in, so the attendee can reschedule or cancel on their own later.
Sign-in is by email code or Google — no prior registration, no password to remember.
Signing in claims the anonymous submission: that response becomes theirs and the matching lead is created. This is exactly why leads only arrive reliably once a sign-in gate is in place.
The portal
Once signed in, respondents get their own portal with three tabs:
| Tab | Contents |
|---|---|
| Records | Every response they’ve submitted to your team, with their reports |
| Bookings | The sessions they’ve booked, with self-service reschedule and cancel |
| Account | Name, avatar, and any extended fields you configured |
The portal is scoped per team: in team A a respondent sees only team A’s records and bookings.
How it maps back to the dashboard
What respondents do in the portal shows up in your dashboard right away:
- They reschedule or cancel → the 1:1 Bookings list updates and the lead’s activity records it.
- They fill in an extended field → the matching column in Respondents updates.
- They sign in and claim a response → “claimed an anonymous response” appears in the lead’s activity.
Disabling a respondent in the dashboard stops them signing in to the portal, but keeps all their past submissions — you still see everything on your side.
